Italian-born violinist Lucrezia Nappini graduated with first class honours in historical violin under the guidance of Enrico Gatti.
In 2021 she won the International baroque violin competition "Marco Uccellini", head of international jury Luca Giardini.
In 2024 Lucrezia published the book "Charles Avison - Saggio sull'espressione musicale" with "Edizioni Clandestine - Gruppo Santelli".
Lucrezia has played with various orchestras, such as Academy of Ancient Music, Accademia Hermans, Divino Sospiro, Auser Musici, Concerto Iberico
She has played in renowened European festivals: BBC Proms, Innsbrucker Festwochen der Alten Musik, Festival de Saintes, Festival Monteverdi, Festival dei due Mondi, Ravenna Festival, working with artists like Amandine Beyer, Laurence Cummings, Bojan Cicic, Andreas Scholl, Roberta Invernizzi, Ottavio Dantone and many more.
She recorded for Tactus, NovAntiqua Records and Rai.
In 2023 she founded "The Heartfelt Band" from the desire to restore freshness and spontaneity to instrumental music before the XIX century. The purpose is to recollect the inheritance of ancient masters observing the rules of the nature and refinement, through a performance which is like a conversation among friends, proper and consistent, able to drive the more gentle human emotions.
